iHeartMedia HeadQUARTERS

New York, NY

When Bob Pittman took the helm at Clear Channel, he set out to reinvent the company as a forward-thinking media brand—ultimately transforming it into iHeartMedia. As part of that evolution, CEO Pittman gave one directive for his new corporate headquarters: “I want people to walk in the door and say ‘who are these people?’ and I want them to get it within five seconds.” Beneville Studios’ response was the award-winning Tuning Chamber entry and an innovative design concept, developed in collaboration with A+I, that has since been exported to hundreds of iHeartMedia offices across the country.

“Over a decade ago, Michael Beneville and Beneville Studios helped us develop our signature office design and extension into our products, unifying our outward-facing brand and our internal collaboration space – enabling us to visually define iHeart both internally and externally. We were Beneville Studios’ first foray into office space and they gave us something completely new and innovative, which we then rolled out all across the country in our over 160 markets; they have also helped us evolve and grow that visual identity, as well as understand how it should manifest itself in our events and our products.

Beneville Studios is that rare team able to combine art, technology, creativity and a keen understanding of brand identity as well as the costs associated with it, and their work continues to be integral to defining our brand DNA for our partners as well as our employees.”
